1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
2 cups chocolate chips
Combine sugars and shortening and cream well. Add eggs and peanut butter and vanilla; mix well.
Add salt, soda, flour, then chocolate chips. If too dry, add 2 tablespoons milk or water.
Make balls and flatten with potato masher.
Bake at 325’ for 8 to 10 minutes
