FOILED STEAK

 (so tender and yummy, even though a less tender steak is used)

2 lbs. chuck or blade steak, cut in seving size pieces
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 can (10 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (19 oz.) canned tomatoes, drained (reserve juice)
1/2 cup juice from tomatoes
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Place large piece of foil on baking sheet or in roaster.
Arrange meat on foil. Sprinkle with soup, mushroom and cut up tomatoes.
Mix juice and cornstarch together in small saucepan over low heat. Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until it boils and thickens.
Pour over all. Seal foil tightly.
Bake in 300'F oven for about 2 ½ hours until tender.
Serves 6.
