DANISH CREAM SQUARES
Graham crackers
1 pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling (6 serving size)
2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla ext
Graham crackers
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1 square of semisweet chocolate
1 tsp. butter or margarine
Line 9 x 13 ungreased pan with whole graham crackers, trimming to fit.
Cook pudding with milk as directed on package using 2 ½ cups milk. Allow to cool. Spread over crackers in pan.
Beat cream, sugar and vanilla until stiff. Spread over pudding.
Put on another layer of whole graham crackers, trimming to fit.
Mix icing sugar and milk together well. Add more sugar or milk if needed to make a fairly runny glaze. Spread over cracker layer.
Melt chocolate with butter over hot water.
Drizzle over top. Chill. Let stand overnight before using. Cut into 15 pieces.
NOTE: my mom use to make this dessert when I was a kid and it was always one of my favorite. :))
