Last year, in the middle of my fall baking, I realized I was out of Pumpkin Pie Spice. My first thought was to run to the grocery store, but then lazyness kicked in and I figured I could make it myself at home. I did and it was wonderful... really good. Here is the recipe:
3 tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 ½ tsp. ground allspice
1 ½ tsp. ground cloves
Combine spices in a small bow, mix well to combine. Store in a small jar or spice container.
Yield: about 5 tablespoons
